Mary Margaret VanDeWeghe joins Lockheed Martin Corp., a $37.2 billion defense contractor based in Bethesda, Md., to fill the new position of senior vice president of finance. VanDeWeghe, 46, most recently was CEO of Forte Consulting, where she provided financial and management consulting services for the past nine years. While she was with Forte Consulting, VanDeWeghe also served as executive-in-residence and finance professor at the graduate business school of the University of Maryland. She started her career at J.P. Morgan, where she worked from 1983 to 1996 and held increasingly senior positions, including managing director, and provided strategic advisory, capital markets and risk management services to corporations.
