Citigroup Inc. has named Gary Crittenden as CFO of the $146.6 billion New York financial services company. Crittenden, 53, replaces Sallie L. Krawcheck, who was promoted to chairman and CEO of the global wealth management division. Crittenden joins Citigroup from American Express Co., where he had served as executive vice president and CFO since June 2000. Prior to joining American Express, he served as CFO of Monsanto Co. from 1998 to 2000 and as CFO of Sears Roebuck & Co. from 1997 to 1998.
American Express Co. named Dan Henry as executive vice president and acting CFO of the $24.3 billion global payments, network and travel company, with headquarters in New York. Henry, 57, succeeds Gary Crittenden, 53, who recently resigned. Henry joined American Express in 1990 as controller and recently served as executive vice president and CFO of U.S. consumer, small business and merchant services. Prior to joining the company, he worked closely with American Express while a partner at Ernst & Young.
Bear Stearns & Co. has named Jeffrey M. Farber senior vice president of finance for the $16.6 billion financial services firm, which is based in New York. Farber, 42, will continue to serve as controller and principle accounting officer in addition to overseeing the tax and global procedure areas. After dedicating 14 years to Deloitte & Touche LLP, an audit partner, Farber joined Bear Stearns in May 2000 as an assistant controller. He was promoted to his current accounting position in January 2004.

Sun Life Financial Inc. recruited Richard McKenney to be executive vice president and CFO of the $14.8 billion international financial services organization, based in Toronto. McKenney, 38, served as senior vice president and CFO of Genworth Financial Inc., an insurance company which had been a part of GE Financial Assurance until Genworth's initial public offering in 2004. McKenney joined Sun Life in September 2006 as an executive vice president. He succeeds Paul W. Derksen, 56, who is retiring.
Adobe Systems Inc. named Mark Garrett as executive vice president and CFO of the $2.6 billion San Jose, Calif.-based software company. Garrett, 49, joins Adobe from EMC Software Group, where he served as senior vice president and CFO. He replaces Randy Furr, who resigned in January 2007. A 25-year finance veteran, Garrett served as executive vice president and CFO of EMC subsidiary Documentum and Marimba Inc., and held financial management positions with Cadence Design Systems Inc. and IBM Corp.
U.S. Cellular Corp. has named Nadine A. Henidrich vice president and controller of the $3 billion wireless service carrier, based in Chicago. Henidrich, 52, started her finance career at Abbot Laboratories in 1979, then moved on to become a consultant at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP). She was named vice president of finance for John Crane Inc. and joined Specialty Elastomers Group as CFO. Henidrich most recently served as vice president and controller for Fortune Brands Inc.
Alberto-Culver Co. has named Ralph J. Nicoletti as senior vice president and CFO of the $3.5 billion leading manufacturer, distributor and marketer of personal care and household products, with headquarters in Melrose Park, Ill. Nicoletti, 49, succeeds William J. Cernugel, who has retired. Nicoletti joins Alberto-Culver after dedicating 27 years to Kraft Foods. During his time at Kraft foods, he served as senior vice president of finance for Kraft Foods North America and most recently as senior vice president of Corporate Audit.
Dun & Bradstreet Corp. named Anastasios Konidaris CFO of the $1.4
billion business information provider, which is based in Short Hills, N.J. Konidaris, 40, succeeds Sara Matthew, who was promoted to president and COO. He has been with D&B since March 2005, leading its global finance operations and was named principal accounting officer in May 2005. Earlier, he served as group vice president at Schering-Plough Corp. and North American vice president of finance at Pharmacia Corp.
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. named Damon Audia vice president and treasurer of the $20.3 billion Akron, Ohio-based tire maker. Audia, 36, joined Goodyear in December 2004 as assistant treasurer from Delphi Corp., where he held numerous positions in treasury and financial roles, including director of capital planning and structured finance, and director of corporate finance and capital markets. Prior to
Delphi, he held positions of increasing responsibility at General Motors, Merck and Ford Motors.
Principal Financial Group Inc. named Greg Elming senior vice president and controller of the $9.9 billion financial products and services provider, which is based in Des Moines. Elming, 46, will direct accounting functions and oversee preparation of financial statements. He joined the company in 1982 as a staff accountant, and in 1985 was named administrator of corporate accounting and taxes. Since then, he has served in various finance roles, including assistant controller and director of financial reporting.
Saks Inc. named Ernest LaPorte senior vice president and controller of the $6 billion parent company of Saks Fifth Avenue, which is moving its headquarters from Birmingham to New York. He is replacing
Rod Samples. LaPorte joins Saks Inc. from Movado Group Inc., where he was vice president of finance and principle accounting officer since February 2005. Prior to that, LaPorte was with Barnes & Noble Inc. as vice president of internal audit, assistant controller and director of financial reporting.
SkyWest Inc. announced that Michael J. Kraupp will assume the role of vice president of finance and treasurer for the $3.1 billion St. George, Utah-based holding company for SkyWest Airlines and Atlantic Southeast Airlines. Currently its current vice president of finance and assistant treasurer, Kraupp, 46, will oversee all treasury functions for SkyWest. He joined SkyWest in 1991 as financial controller and was then promoted to vice president and controller. In 2001, Kraupp served as vice president of finance and assistant treasurer.
