Korn/Ferry International named Stephen Giusto executive vice president and CFO of the $689 million executive search firm, with headquarters in Los Angeles. Giusto, 45, succeeds Gary D. Burnison who was promoted to CEO.

Korn/Ferry International named Stephen Giusto executive vice president and CFO of the $689 million executive search firm, with headquarters in Los Angeles. Giusto, 45, succeeds Gary D. Burnison who was promoted to CEO. Giusto joined Korn/Ferry from Resources Connection Inc., a firm he co-founded in 1996. Before that he was a partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s real estate practice.

Mylan Laboratories Inc., the $1.6 billion pharmaceutical company, based in Pittsburgh, named Brian Byala senior vice president and treasurer. Byala brings a wealth of experience to Mylan, including FAS 133 hedge accounting know-how and a thorough understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley practices. He joins Mylan from Pfizer Inc. where he most recently served as assistant treasurer. For the last ten years, he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility within the Pfizer treasury.
