Financial Executives: Keeping Track

JPMorgan Chase appointed Joseph Bonocore treasurer. Bonocore served as CFO and chief operating officer for JPMorgan’s chief investment office, which invests the bank’s capital and hedges currency and interest-rate risks, for the past 10 years. Before that, he worked in asset and liability management and in the investment bank. Bonocore succeeds Norma Corio, JPMorgan’s treasurer for two years, who is joining the special investments unit of the chief investment office, where she will work with distressed companies that have loans with the bank. JPMorgan reported 2009 revenue of $100 billion.

Hostess Brands, a privately held bakery that makes Twinkies and Wonder Bread, named John Stewart CFO and executive vice president. Before joining Dallas-based Hostess, Stewart was CFO for Dr. Pepper Snapple and for Diageo’s North American unit. He also held international CFO roles in Diageo’s drinks business and spent several years at its Pillsbury unit in marketing, finance, operational control & accounting roles. Earlier in his career, Stewart worked in internal audit at RCA, GE and RJR Nabisco.
