Financial Executives: Keeping Track

Deere & Co., the $32 billion farm tractor and combine manufacturer, appointed Rajesh Kalathur CFO and senior vice president. He replaces James Field, who was named president of the agricultural and turf division for the Americas and Australia. Kalathur, 43, has been deputy financial officer for the Moline, Ill., company since April. Since joining Deere in 1996, he served as vice president of sales and marketing for the agriculture and turf division overseas, as well as CEO and managing director of subsidiary John Deere India Private Ltd.

Sealed Air Corp., a $5.6 billion food safety, facility hygiene and product protection company, named Carol Lowe CFO and senior vice president. She succeeds interim CFO Tod Christie, who will resume his role as treasurer of the Elmwood Park, N.J., company. Lowe, 46, most recently was president of Carlisle FoodService Products, and also served as Carlisle’s CFO, treasurer and vice president. Prior to joining Carlisle, she worked in accounting and treasury at National Gypsum. Lowe began her career at Ernst & Young.
