ON Semiconductor, a $3.4 billion supplier of high performance silicon solutions, appointed Bernard Gutmann CFO and executive vice president. He replaces Donald Colvin, who resigned in August. Gutmann, 53, pictured at right, has been a member of the Phoenix-based company’s finance team for 13 years. Most recently he served as vice president of corporate analysis and strategy for Semiconductor Components Industries, ON Semiconductor’s primary operating company. Gutmann has also been CFO for the company’s SANYO Semiconductor division since 2011 and will continue to serve in that position. Prior to joining ON, he worked in finance at Motorola from 1982 to 1999.Recommended Stories
