Some Online Retailers Adding Brick-and-Mortar Stores (NYT)

A realization that some shoppers want and need the in-person experience.

Some former online-only retailers are finding there’s no substitute for in-the-flesh shopping, The New York Times reports. Stores like Piperlime, a Gap unit, and Bonobos have opened stores recently, and other sites like EBay and Etsy are testing temporary stores.
