Not according to most of the 303 treasurers, assistant treasurers and vice presidents of finance responding to Treasury & Risk's 2008 Strategic Treasury Survey. Eighty-three percent described their jobs as stimulating, saying that they enjoy the more frequent exposure to the CEO and the board and the increased operational orientation of the work.
