SunGard, a Wayne, Pa.-based provider of treasury workstations, says the latest release of its AvantGard Integrity treasury solution enhances companies' ability to comply with FAS 157, the fair value accounting standard, by automating reporting and accounting related to the standard. The latest version of AvantGard Integrity can provide valuations related to credit risk adjustment for foreign exchange, debt and derivatives positions, including both entity and counterparty positions. SunGard says the new release also offers customers streamlined bank communication and the ability to consolidate their payment files to cut bank fees.

Chatham Financial, an interest-rate and foreign-exchange risk management adviser in Kennett Square, Pa., has enhanced its credit valuation adjustment (CVA) calculator to meet the requirements of FAS 157. According to the company, the CVA calculator incorporates the total expected exposure approach and can provide an automated CVA calculation for cross-currency swaps using that approach.

Incisive, a Saratoga, Calif.-based provider of spreadsheet management software, says the latest version of its Validate spreadsheet auditing software offers new tools that help identify spreadsheet problems. Validate 3.0 includes a progress panel that shows data on things like new or lost cell traces, a history panel that shows changes in audit information, and a change report that shows all alterations that have occurred in the spreadsheet since the last audit. Incisive says Validate 3.0 has support for Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Office 2007 and Google Spreadsheets.

Compliance 360, an Atlanta provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software, says its new Internal Audit application aims to meet the needs of audit executives, general counsel, CFOs, chief compliance and risk officers, and finance staff for consistency among GRC products. The new application gives companies a single repository for audit plans, work papers and other documents and provides comprehensive audit plan management and meeting management, as well as documentation of audit recommendations, managements' response and remediation plans. The software can generate audit work papers from work plans and can manage and analyze surveys for companies of all sizes.

TradeWeb, a Jersey City, N.J.-based provider of online trading in fixed income, derivatives and equities, says it has launched a Web site, DerivAlert.org, to keep market participants informed about potential changes in regulations regarding over-the-counter derivatives. In addition to news updates and research, the Web site provides a blog regarding the key issues involved in derivatives regulation and a Twitter feed to alert market participants when content is added to the site.

Investment Governance, a company that provides research, analysis and training on fiduciary governance, has launched a Web portal, FiduciaryX, for institutional investors and the companies that provide them with pension services. Shelton, Conn.-based Investment Governance says the Web site will provide subscribers with access to a virtual reference desk and a system that ranks service providers, as well as blogs by industry leaders and discussion forums. According to the Web site, a 30-day trial subscription is $149 and a 12-month subscription for a single user is $1,495.
