Conseco, a Carmel, Ind.-based insurance company with $4.3 billion in 2009 revenues, named Scott Galovic treasurer and vice president of investor relations. He replaces Todd Hacker, who has left the company. Galovic, 47, has managed investor relations since he joined Conseco in 2008. Earlier, he served as controller at both Irwin Union Bank and Golden Rule Insurance and worked in finance and accounting at Anthem.
Richard Lees has been named CFO and senior vice president of Ocean Spray, a $2 billion agricultural cooperative in Lakeville-Middleboro, Mass. He replaces Tim Chan, the coop's CFO since 2000, who is retiring. Lees, 47, most recently served as Ocean Spray's vice president of finance and treasury. Earlier in his career, he was controller of Pillsbury, CFO of Dannon North America and vice president of finance for Gillette North America.
McAfee, a $1.9 billion provider of IT security software and hardware, named Jonathan Chadwick CFO. He succeeds Rocky Pimental, who announced his retirement in February. Chadwick, 44, is joining the Santa Clara, Calif.-based company from Cisco Systems, where he worked for 13 years, most recently as CFO of global customer markets. He also served as Cisco's corporate controller and ran the corporate finance and planning group. Earlier, Chadwick worked at Coopers & Lybrand.

James Shay has been appointed CFO and senior vice president of finance and strategic planning by Great Plains Energy, a $1.9 billion utility holding company in Kansas City, Mo., and its subsidiary Kansas City Power & Light, effective in July. He replaces Terry Bassham, who was promoted to executive vice president of utility operations. Shay, 46, is joining Great Plains from Northern Power Systems, where he is CFO. Prior to joining Northern Power Systems, Shay worked in finance at General Electric Environmental Services, Machine Laboratory, BHA Holdings and Frontier Investment Banc.
La-Z-Boy, the $1.2 billion furniture company in Monroe, Mich., named Greg Brinks treasurer and vice president. He replaces Michael Skrzypczak, who left the company in February. Brinks, 52, most recently was executive director of international securitization at GMAC and earlier served as GMAC's director of financial planning and analysis. He began working at General Motors in 1981.
Wayne Pastore was appointed CFO and senior vice president by Sonus Networks, a $313 million IP networking company in Westford, Mass. Pastore has served as the company's interim CFO since February, when Richard Gaynor left to join GT Solar International as its CFO. Pastore, 45, has been the company's corporate controller, chief accounting officer and vice president of finance since 2008 and earlier served as its director of business process improvement. Earlier, he was director of financial planning and analysis at Sycamore Networks and corporate controller at both Spotfire and eXcelon.
Parkway Properties, a $268.2 million real estate investment trust that specializes in office properties, promoted Richard Hickson to CFO and executive vice president. He succeeds J. Mitchell Collins, who left in February; the company's chief accounting officer, Mandy Pope, has served as interim CFO. Hickson, 36, joined Parkway in 2004 and most recently served as senior asset manager, fund manager and senior vice president. Prior to joining Parkway, he worked in real estate investment banking at First Union Securities and was an associate in the investment banking department at Lehman Brothers.
Concur, a $247.6 million provider of travel and entertainment spend management software in Redmond, Wash., named Frank Pelzer CFO. He replaces John Adair, who resigned to take care of family needs. Pelzer, 39, most recently was a director in Deutsche Bank's software investment banking group. Earlier, he was a vice president at Credit Suisse First Boston and a management consultant at Kurt Salmon Associates.
