EDGAR Online,
the New York City company that distributes corporations' Securities and Exchange Commission filings and data, is merging with Redwood City, Calif.-based UBMatrix, which provides software solutions that help companies format their SEC filings in eXtensible Business Reporting Language, or XBRL. EDGAR Online and UBMatrix say the merger positions the combined company as "a global leader in XBRL software, services and data." After the all-stock transaction takes place, UBmatrix will be a wholly owned subsidiary of EDGAR Online, with Sunir Kapoor, currently president and CEO of UBmatrix, serving as president of the subsidiary.

IT2 Treasury Solutions, the London-based provider of treasury management software, says the new 7.0 release of its Feature Pack contains a fully integrated electronic bank account management (eBam) program. The eBam program will give companies up-to-date visibility into their bank exposures worldwide, IT2 says. The 7.0 release also extends the software's lease management and advanced credit risk management solutions, according to the company.

Citigroup Global Transaction Services has launched a new reporting platform for securities lending, Securities Finance Reporting. According to Citi, the new platform gives institutions more transparency and flexibility by providing them with highly customizable reports on their securities lending, collateral management and cash reinvestment activities, as well as a variety of secure delivery methods.

Basware, the Finland-based company whose solutions enable electronic payments, says it has added supplier functionality to Basware Connectivity that allows accounts receivable departments to deliver all invoices to customers electronically. AR departments use a single service to send invoices, and Basware routes the invoices appropriately according to the customers' capabilities. According to the company, AR departments are getting more requests for e-invoicing and this new product allows companies to provide that immediately.

Unit4, a U.K. provider of enterprise resource planning software and other business solutions, says it has launched Sustain4, a product that helps companies track and improve their environmental and business performance. Unit4 developed the new solution in partnership with Trucost, an environmental impact specialist, and Sustain4 uses Trucost's model for assessing environmental impacts. According to the company, Sustain4 deals with corporate environmental performance across more than 700 areas ranging from greenhouse gas to water usage.

ClusterSeven has released Enterprise Spreadsheet Manager 6.0, the latest version of its spreadsheet management software. According to the company, the discovery and risk checking functions have been enhanced in the new release, giving users more flexibility in viewing and resolving risks related to their spreadsheets. For example, ClusterSeven says, users can view their risks as a workbook, a website or a PDF report. The new release also includes security enhancements, the company says.
