Insurers stressed their support for the federal backstop for terrorism coverage in comments solicited by the Obama Administration ahead of the 2014 expiration of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act, National Underwriter reports. In its comment letter, RIMS says it's clear the private sector can't sustain a healthy market for terrorism coverage without public support, Business Insurance reports.
