JPMorgan Chase appointed Joseph Bonocore treasurer. Bonocore served as CFO and chief operating officer for JPMorgan's chief investment office, which invests the bank's capital and hedges currency and interest-rate risks, for the past 10 years. Before that, he worked in asset and liability management and in the investment bank. Bonocore succeeds Norma Corio, JPMorgan's treasurer for two years, who is joining the special investments unit of the chief investment office, where she will work with distressed companies that have loans with the bank. JPMorgan reported 2009 revenue of $100 billion.
Hostess Brands, a privately held bakery that makes Twinkies and Wonder Bread, named John Stewart CFO and executive vice president. Before joining Dallas-based Hostess, Stewart was CFO for Dr. Pepper Snapple and for Diageo's North American unit. He also held international CFO roles in Diageo's drinks business and spent several years at its Pillsbury unit in marketing, finance, operational control & accounting roles. Earlier in his career, Stewart worked in internal audit at RCA, GE and RJR Nabisco.
EZCORP, a pawn shop operator in Austin, Texas, with $597 million in 2009 revenue, appointed Stephen Stamp CFO and senior vice president. He replaces Danny Chism, EZCORP's chief accounting officer, who had served as principal financial officer since May, when former CFO Brad Wolfe left the company. Stamp, 48, was previously CFO at KV Pharmaceutical Co., and prior to that served as CFO and chief operating officer at Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals. He was also group finance director at Regus Group and Shire Pharmaceuticals Group, and worked at Lazard Brothers and KPMG.

Intersection Inc., a seller of identity theft protection software and services, promoted John Scanlon to CFO and executive vice president. He replaces Madalyn Behneman, who has been acting principal financial officer since 2006. Behneman remains chief accounting officer. Prior to his promotion, Scanlon, 43, was chief operating officer for business services and executive vice president of strategic growth for the Chantilly, Va.-based company, which reported $364 million in sales last year. Before joining Intersection, Scanlon held finance, technology, operations and management roles at several Fortune 500 companies. He began his career in finance at JPMorgan.
Red Lion Hotels, a Spokane, Wash.-based hotel chain with $165 million in 2009 revenue, hired Dan Jackson as CFO and senior vice president. He replaces Anthony Dombrowik, who left Red Lion in October to join Ambassadors Group. Jackson, 57, has been a consultant since June 2006. Earlier, he was CFO for KinderCare Learning Centers and its successor, Knowledge Learning Corp. Before joining KinderCare, Jackson spent 12 years at Red Lion, a stint in which his final position was controller.
MTR Gaming Group, a $444 million operator of casinos and racetracks in West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania, named John Bittner CFO. Bittner, 57, had been interim CFO since David Hughes left in September, along with CEO Robert Griffin. Bittner was the company's executive vice president of finance and accounting since 2008, after serving as Chester, W.Va.-based MTR's CFO from 2002 to 2008. Bittner began his career at Ernst & Young in 1975.
