New York, NY – Treasury & Risk magazine, the leading monthly business publication for senior financial executives, today announced the finalists for the 2011 Alexander Hamilton Best Practices Summit and Awards Program (AHA), scheduled for Oct. 25-26, 2011 in New York City.

Now in its 16th year, the awards program recognizes excellence in finance and treasury management and honors the best and the brightest from treasury and finance departments at top companies around the world.

One of the top women in finance and on Wall Street, Ann Marie Petach, CFO of BlackRock, the world's biggest money manager, is this year's opening day keynote speaker. Bank of America Chief Market Strategist Joseph Quinlan will update attendees on the global economic outlook as the keynote speaker at lunch.

Treasury & Risk's distinguished judging panel of five industry experts selected the finalists in the 10 award categories and the overall winner from a record number of entries.

“The judges noted that the sophistication and complexity of the projects as well as the number of entries continue to increase each year,” said Donna Miskin, Editor-in-Chief of Treasury & Risk magazine. “This reflects the strategic and vital role that treasury and finance executives now play in creating value for their companies.”

The finalists will present their initiatives and programs at the Best Practices Summit, where the winners of each category will be announced. Last year's conference drew more than 250 senior-level treasury and finance professionals.
