Noble Corp., a $2.8 billion offshore drilling contractor, appointed James MacLennan CFO, controller and senior vice president. He replaces Dennis Lubojacky, who served as interim principal finance and accounting officer since CFO Thomas Mitchell left in September. MacLennan, 52, joins the Swiss company from Ennis Traffic Safety Solutions, where he was CFO and corporate secretary. Earlier, he served as CFO at hotel owner and operator Lodgian, medical device manufacturer Theragenics Corp. and technical products company Lanier Worldwide.

The Navigators Group, a $777 million New York City-based insurance holding company, named Ciro DeFalco CFO and senior vice president. He succeeds Francis McDonnell, who retired. DeFalco, 56, served as interim CFO at Navigators since October. He joined the company in September from White Mountains Re Group, where he was senior vice president and group planning officer. Previously, DeFalco held a variety of finance positions in the insurance industry.

NCI, an information technology company with $581 million in 2010 revenue, appointed Lucas Narel CFO, treasurer and executive vice president. He replaces Brian Clark, who was named president of the Reston, Va., company. Narel, 37, joins NCI from CGI Federal, where he was vice president of finance. Earlier, he was vice president and corporate controller for Stanley, a company that CGI acquired in 2010.

SonoSite, a $275 million Bothell, Wash.-based ultrasound technology company, named Anil Amlani CFO. He succeeds Marcus Smith, who resigned to pursue other opportunities. Amlani, 61, most recently was CEO and president of VisualSonics, a SonoSite subsidiary. Previously, he served as CFO at MDS Proteomics, where he was also chief operating officer, Cancom and AT&T Canada Long Distance Services. Amlani also was head of finance, commercial and retail banking at TD Bank.

Mannatech, a Coppell, Texas, health products company with $228 million in 2010 revenue, appointed S. Mark Nicholls CFO. He replaces Stephen Fenstermacher, who has resigned to accept a position at a financial services company. Nicholls, 45, most recently served as Mannatech's vice president of treasury and tax. He joined the company in 2007 as a senior tax manager. Previously, he was tax director at Carter & Burgess and CFO for real estate company Cirrus Group. Nicholls also worked in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers and BDO Seidman.

Landauer, a $120 million maker of radiation detection devices, named Michael Burke CFO and senior vice president. He succeeds interim CFO Michael Leatherman, who will resume serving as a member of the board of directors and has been reinstated to the Glenwood, Ill., company's audit and compensation committees. Burke, 53, most recently was CFO of Albany International Corp., a textiles and materials processor. Earlier, he was CFO at Intermagnetics General and HbT. Burke also worked in investment banking as a managing director at CIBC World Markets and director at Barclays Capital.
