India is the third most popular investment destination for global companies, according to a United Nations report released today. China and the United States grabbed the list's top spots.
Foreign direct investment flows into India rose 30% in 2011, and may grow by 20% to 25% this year, according to the report. The country began allowing full foreign ownership of single brand retailers this year, which may drive more corporate investment.
