A panelist at last week's Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) hearing on auditor rotation suggested having the PCAOB share the findings from its inspections of audit firms with the audit committees of corporate boards, according to an article on AccountingToday.com. That would require Congress to amend the Dodd-Frank Act, but the panelist, C. Brian Fox, chief marketing officer of Confirmation.com, told AccountingToday.com that he expects Congress to be asked to enact such a change.
