The prospect of companies bringing overseas manufacturing jobs back to the United States has gotten some press recently. But a Businessweek article argues that the examples of companies bringing production jobs back to the U.S. are more than offset by the many companies that continue to send such jobs overseas.

Part of the argument for reshoring is that the cost advantage of manufacturing in China is eroding as wages there rise. But Businessweek says companies that move manufacturing out of China are more likely to send the work to lower-wage companies in Asia.
