Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Mary Schapiro has seen several of her key executives at the agency depart recently, adding to speculation that Schapiro may depart after the presidential election, according to the Wall Street Journal. One of Schapiro's close advisers, Ricardo Delfin, who worked on such issues as money-fund regulation, left last month, as well as a legislative director, a deputy in Schapiro's office and two high-ranking policy experts, according to the article.

Schapiro's term runs until June 2014. According to the WSJ, she considered stepping down this spring but stayed on at the president's request.
