ON Semiconductor, a $3.4 billion supplier of high performance silicon solutions, appointed Bernard Gutmann CFO and executive vice president. He replaces Donald Colvin, who resigned in August. Gutmann, 53, pictured at right, has been a member of the Phoenix-based company's finance team for 13 years. Most recently he served as vice president of corporate analysis and strategy for Semiconductor Components Industries, ON Semiconductor's primary operating company. Gutmann has also been CFO for the company's SANYO Semiconductor division since 2011 and will continue to serve in that position. Prior to joining ON, he worked in finance at Motorola from 1982 to 1999.
Flowers Foods, a $2.8 billion producer and marketer of packaged bakery foods, named Craig Parr chief risk officer and senior vice president of finance, a new position for the company. He will report to CFO and executive vice president R. Steve Kensley. Parr joins Thomasville, Ga.-based Flowers from The Andersons, where he worked in accounting and risk management for 20 years and most recently served as vice president of risk management and food supply.
Inergy, a $2 billion Kansas City, Mo.-based gas storage company, named Michael Campbell CFO and senior vice president and Kent Blackford treasurer and vice president. Campbell succeeds R. Brooks Sherman Jr., who was promoted to president, and Blackford succeeds Campbell. Campbell, 43, joined Inergy in 2003 and was named treasurer in 2005.
Teledyne Technologies, a $1.9 billion provider of electronic subsystems and instrumentation for industrial growth markets, named Susan Main CFO and senior vice president. She succeeds Dale Schnittjer, who retired. Main, 53, has been controller and vice president at Thousand Oaks, Calif.-based Teledyne since 2004. Earlier, she was controller at Water Pik Technologies and worked in finance at Allegheny Teledyne and Hughes Aircraft Co.
Quantex Building Products Corp., an $848 million manufacturer of housing materials in Houston, appointed Marty Ketelaar vice president of investor relations. He succeeds Jeff Galow, who is retiring. Ketelaar, 47, previously served as vice president of investor relations and assistant treasurer at ServiceMaster Co. and worked at Amerus Group and Coopers & Lybrand.
California Water Service Group, a $501 million water utility in San Jose, named Thomas Smegal III CFO, treasurer and vice president. He succeeds Martin Kropelnicki, who was promoted to president and COO. Smegal, 45, joined CWS in 1997 and became vice president of regulatory matters and corporate relations in 2008. Earlier, he worked at the California Public Utilities Commission.
