Multinational companies are moving their headquarters to the U.K. in response to the nation's increasingly competitive tax regime, according to a Financial Times story on CNBC. Ernst & Young says at least 20 companies plan to make the move, which it estimates will create about 2,000 well-paid jobs.
The story notes that Aon, Lancashire Holdings, Ensco, Rowan and Delphi Automotive have already moved their global headquarters to Britain.
