Air Products and Chemicals, an Allentown, Pa.-based provider of gases with $10.1 billion in 2011 revenue, said M. Scott Crocco, its corporate controller and vice president, will succeed Paul Huck as CFO and senior vice president when Huck retires in February. Crocco, 48, pictured at right, has been the company's controller since 2006. Since joining Air Product's career development program in 1990, he has also been director of corporate decision support, controller for the electronics division and manager of financial planning and analysis.
Pepco Holdings, the $5.9 billion utility, named Donna Kinzel treasurer, chief risk officer and vice president. She replaces Kevin McGowan, who was named vice president of regulatory affairs. Kinzel, 45, at left, has been Pepco's director of investor relations since 2004. She joined Delmarva Power, a subsidiary of the Washington, D.C.-based company, in 1990. She was named finance manager for Pepco's enterprise business group in 1997 and assistant treasurer in 1999.
Flowserve Corp., the $4.5 billion provider of flow control products and services, named Jay Roueche treasurer, head of investor relations and vice president. He succeeds Dean Freeman, who left the company. Roueche, 45, most recently served as treasurer at McDermott International. Earlier he held finance positions at Pennzoil-Quaker State, Rockport Resources Capital Corp. and Shell Oil.
VMware, the $3.7 billion Palo Alto, Calif.-based software maker, appointed Jonathan Chadwick CFO. He succeeds Mark Peek, who left to become CFO at Workday earlier this year. Chadwick, 46, pictured at right, most recently served as CFO at Skype, a subsidiary of Microsoft, and corporate vice president at Microsoft. Previously he was CFO and executive vice president at McAfee, which was acquired by Intel in 2011. Earlier, Chadwick held finance positions at Cisco Systems and worked at Coopers & Lybrand in the U.S. and U.K.
MSC Industrial Direct Co., a $2 billion distributor of metalworking and maintenance, repair and operations supplies, appointed John Chironna treasurer, and vice president of investor relations. He succeeds Shelley Boxer, who retired after 19 years at the Melville, N.Y.-based company. Chironna, 47, previously worked at Tyco and ABB, where he spent the last 15 years in investor relations positions. He began his career at Arthur Anderson.
San Francisco 49ers, a National Football League team, named Cipora Herman CFO. She replaces Larry MacNeil, who was named EVP of development. Herman, 38, joins the 49ers from Facebook, where she was vice president of finance and played a key role in the company's IPO. Earlier, she was treasurer at Yahoo and worked at Hewlett-Packard and Seibel Systems.
